Tout Comprendre sur l’Alopécie et la Chute des Cheveux

The anagen phase is the period during which hair grows. It lasts between 1 and 4 years. During this stage, the hair bulb regenerates and produces hair fiber. A hair grows approximately 1 cm per month.

It is important to know that hair loss is more significant at the beginning of autumn and, in some cases, at the beginning of spring. It is completely normal to lose 100 hairs per day . However, if the scalp sheds more than 110 hairs daily or if the loss lasts for two months, this is a pathology. A consultation with a specialist is essential!

Baldness ( androgenetic alopecia ) mainly affects men and only affects the top of the head. The area around the head retains its hair.

Testosterone, one of the male hormones , slows hair growth, which explains why baldness is more common in men. There are solutions to regain a scalp that displays beautiful hair! Consult a doctor specializing in this field who will advise you effectively.

Greffe FUE : La Technique de Référence pour un Résultat Naturel

The Follicular Unit Extraction ( FUE ) transplant technique involves transplanting follicular units from one area to another (donor to recipient). The latter is the one suffering from alopecia and needing to be covered with new hair. The specialist uses the hair follicle micrografting process . It allows for the treatment of alopecia problems in men and women of all ages, provided that the required requirements are met.

A single session allows the transfer of 5000 follicular units, each of which can contain between 1 and 5 hairs.

Since the patient is their own autologous (donor), the result obtained with the FUE technique is entirely natural since it involves a reimplantation of their own hair.

The FUE transplant is performed under anesthesia and takes place in 5 stages:

  • Shaving the donor area to facilitate the identification and extraction of follicular units;
  • Marking the areas to be covered, seeking a balance between the areas to be sampled and those to be covered;
  • Local anesthesia to avoid pain;
  • Microcapillary graft: the specialist extracts the follicular units and grafts them onto the bald areas;
  • Recovery: As the scars are very small, recovery is quick, with 2 to 3 days being enough for the affected areas of the scalp to be completely healed.
